Synopsis
Magical Mystery Tour (1967) is The Beatles' own TV film, free to watch online on iFILM. For about an hour a coach packed with musicians and oddball passengers rolls across England while a handful of magicians stir up the strangeness.
There's barely a plot, and that's the point. John, Paul, George and Ringo directed it themselves, stitching together song sequences, slapstick and waking dreams. The soundtrack carries "I Am the Walrus," "The Fool on the Hill" and the title track. British television aired it in black and white on Boxing Day 1967, and the reviews were brutal.
