Synopsis
Howling III: The Marsupials (1987) is an Australian horror oddity you can watch online on iFILM. The third Howling entry drops the franchise's werewolves out of America and into the Outback.
An anthropologist named Beckmeyer discovers a hidden tribe of marsupial werewolves living in the bush — descendants of the long-extinct Tasmanian tiger. The government smells a threat and sends soldiers to wipe them out, but Beckmeyer falls for a young woman from the pack and sets out to save her kind. Director Philippe Mora plays the whole thing for camp rather than scares: there's a pouch pregnancy, a ballerina who transforms mid-performance and a thick streak of Aussie absurdity. It's one for trash-horror fans who don't mind ragged logic and like their monster movies winking at the camera. Stream Howling III online on iFILM.
