Ænigma

Ænigma (1987) is a Lucio Fulci horror film you can watch online on iFILM. At an exclusive girls' boarding school, a cruel prank leaves shy, awkward Kathy hit by a car and left in a coma. Her body lies still — but her spirit refuses to let it go.

The revenge plays out through someone else's hands. Kathy's consciousness slips into a new arrival at the school, and one by one the girls who wrecked her life start dying in bizarre, dream-logic ways. The snail sequence alone tells you what kind of movie this is. Shot late in Fulci's career as an Italian-Yugoslav co-production, it leans hard on mood and grisly set pieces rather than tidy plotting.
