Synopsis
Howling VI: The Freaks (1991) is the werewolf-versus-vampire horror you can watch online on iFILM. It's the sixth entry in the long-running Howling franchise, and this time the monsters end up inside a traveling carnival of human oddities.
A quiet drifter named Ian (Brendan Hughes) wanders into a dusty desert town, fixes up the church, and tries to keep his secret: every full moon he turns. Then Harker rolls in. He runs the carnival, he's a vampire, and he likes to cage rare creatures as living exhibits — so a real werewolf is exactly the act he's been missing. Bruce Payne plays the villain with cold relish and walks off with the film. Director Hope Perello works on a shoestring but loves her practical makeup, building a crocodile man and a set of freaks by hand. A modest, sincere B-movie for fans of old latex-and-fog horror.
