Synopsis
Bertie lives for one thing: his Opel Manta GTE. Manta, Manta (1991) is a German action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Wolfgang Büld and starring a young Til Schweiger in the role that launched his career.
Bertie has loyal buddies down at the garage and a girlfriend named Uschi, but nothing turns his head like an engine roaring. First he blows the money saved for their apartment on a bet with rival racer Axel. Then sheer stubbornness drags him into a street duel with a BMW-driving football hooligan, and he wrecks his motor right before the big showdown. Meanwhile Helmut, a smooth operator with a Ferrari, circles Uschi — who happens to be pregnant with Bertie's kid and only keeps Helmut around to make Bertie jealous.
