Santa Claus (Le père Noël, 2014) is a French Christmas comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Alexandre Coffre, it begins with a botched burglary: a thief (Tahar Rahim) breaks into a Paris apartment dressed as Father Christmas and runs straight into six-year-old Victor. The boy is convinced the real Santa just landed on his balcony, and no explanation will shake that belief.

What follows is an accidental night-time adventure across Paris. Rahim — known for the brutal prison drama A Prophet — plays squarely against type here, and the gap between who his character actually is and what Victor refuses to stop believing is what gives the film its warmth.
