Synopsis
Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966) is a Hammer Film Productions horror you can watch online on iFILM. Director Terence Fisher brought Christopher Lee back as the Count after a gap of several years, and Lee made a pointed choice: he speaks no lines at all in the film. Just presence, a stare, and a cape. It works.
Four English tourists ignore every warning and spend the night in the Count's deserted castle. His manservant Kloove greets them warmly. He has a plan. One of the men is all it takes for the resurrection ritual, and once Dracula is back he needs a companion. Barbara Shelley delivers the most unsettling performance in the cast — her transformation is the film's sharpest horror beat, cold and convincing.
This is Hammer gothic at a solid clip: fog-heavy Carpathian corridors, a villain who communicates entirely through menace, and no softening at the edges. Not a relic for film scholars — a proper horror film that still lands. Stream Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966) online on iFILM.
