Synopsis
Huevos: Little Rooster's Egg-Cellent Adventure (Un gallo con muchos huevos, 2015) — watch this Mexican animated comedy online on iFILM, directed by Gabriel and Rodolfo Riva Palacio Alatriste. Young rooster Toto dreams of becoming a boxing champion on a small family farm. Then a crooked landlord pulls a scam that puts the farm itself on the line: the owner is tricked into betting the property on a cockfight at the arena.
One week. That's all Toto has to train, build his confidence, and figure out how a scrappy farmyard bird beats a seasoned arena fighter. His friends are in his corner. His odds are not great. Original voice cast includes Bruno Bichir, Maite Perroni and Omar Chaparro.
The film doesn't soften its stakes for a younger audience — the villain is genuinely unpleasant, the threat to the farm is real, and the outcome isn't handed to anyone. It's rowdy, funny in a physical way, and carries the kind of underdog energy that works equally well for kids who've never seen a cockfight and adults who have.
