The 11th Hour
It's our generation that gets to change the world... forever.
Synopsis
The 11th Hour (2007) is Leonardo DiCaprio's climate documentary, available to watch online on iFILM. DiCaprio narrates and produces, lining up dozens of scientists and thinkers to take stock of where the planet stands.
The film moves from oceanographer Sylvia Earle to physicist Stephen Hawking, from ecologist David Suzuki to former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, each weighing how close we've come to the edge — and how much can still be undone. It isn't all alarm: a good half goes to renewable energy, smarter waste, and design that could heal damaged ecosystems. Nadia and Leila Conners direct.
This is a talky film built on interviews rather than spectacle, organized around one idea: the clock is nearly out, but the fixes already exist. It suits viewers who want arguments and solutions over dramatic disaster footage. Stream The 11th Hour (2007) online on iFILM.
