Synopsis
I Am the End of the World (Io sono la fine del mondo, 2025) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Gennaro Nunziante and starring Angelo Duro.
A deadpan driver-for-hire gets the call he's been dreading: move back to Palermo and look after his elderly parents. He shows up. Reluctantly. But once he's there, he notices something: every rigid authority figure, self-important bureaucrat, and neighbourhood bully who made his teenage years miserable is within reach. He is methodical about this.
Duro is a fixture of Italian stand-up known for dry delivery and very little patience for pretension, and the film is essentially built around that persona.
