Synopsis
Paris or Perish (Paris à tout prix, 2013) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by and starring Roschdy Zem alongside Cécile Cassel. Maya has built exactly the life she wanted — a stylist's job at a top Paris fashion house, a chic apartment, zero ties to where she came from.
One speeding stop unravels all of it. Her visa expired months ago. Within twenty-four hours she is back in Morocco, back with a family she had quietly written off. The film finds its comic energy in the friction between those two worlds, but it never turns Morocco into a punchline or Paris into pure fantasy — both places have something to offer Maya, and figuring that out is the whole point.
