Synopsis
Little Big Soldier (2010) is a Chinese action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ding Sheng and built around Jackie Chan at his most self-deprecating. When two armies annihilate each other in one brutal battle, only two men walk away — a battle-weary Liang foot soldier who never wanted to fight, and a wounded Wei general.
The soldier sees his ticket out: drag the enemy commander back to camp and he earns five acres of farmland and a discharge. The general (Wang Leehom) has other ideas. Their forced march across mountains and enemy checkpoints turns into a two-man standoff — peasant cunning against aristocratic pride, every rest stop a small negotiation.
