Synopsis
A Chinese Ghost Story II (倩女幽魂II人間道, 1990) is a Hong Kong fantasy adventure laced with action and comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. Timid debt collector Ling Choi-San walks out of a prison cell he never belonged in, only to stumble straight back into a world where the living and the dead keep getting tangled up.
On the road he runs into a band of rebel women fighting corrupt officials — and a girl who looks exactly like the ghostly lover he lost. From there it never lets up: flying swords, a colossal centipede demon, Taoist priests and a swarm of supernatural foes. Leslie Cheung returns as Choi-San, Joey Wong plays the double of his vanished love, and Jacky Cheung shows up as a brash warrior.
Ching Siu-tung directs and Tsui Hark produces — the same team that turned the first film into a classic.
