Centauro

Centauro (2022) is a Spanish action thriller from director Daniel Calparsoro, and you can watch online on iFILM. Rafa lives on two wheels: street races, a screaming engine, speed pushed to the edge. The real stakes arrive when the mother of his child falls into debt with a drug cartel.

To dig her out, Rafa agrees to move product on his bike, running courier jobs for the same people who have her cornered. At first it looks like a way out; soon it's a noose that tightens with every run. Àlex Monner carries his character from the thrill into rising panic, Begoña Vargas plays a woman whose single mistake drags them both under, and Carlos Bardem brings the menace as the man Rafa owes far too much. The camera rides low to the asphalt, and Madrid's night highways feel almost physical.
