Synopsis

Marie Avgeropoulos plays his partner in the field; Dennis Haysbert is the federal official whose motives stay murky; Billy Zane shows up as someone holding critical access. The film moves through shootouts, barricaded streets and crowd-of-undead chase sequences at a pace that leaves little room to stop and question the logic.
The sequel goes wider than the first film — more action, a political conspiracy layered over the outbreak, and a body count that keeps climbing.
