Synopsis

Saya looks sixteen. She has been alive for four centuries, born to a vampire mother and a human father, and she is the only hunter capable of tracking demons from inside their own world. The government sends her undercover to a US military base near Tokyo, where something wearing a human face has embedded itself among the students. Her weapon of choice is a samurai blade. Bullets are beside the point.
A rare co-production spanning China, France, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States, the film translates the atmosphere of its anime source into live-action — the action choreography leans into Japanese sword-fight tradition rather than Western stunt work.
