Synopsis
Savage Grace (2007) is an American drama directed by Tom Kalin — watch it online on iFILM. Julianne Moore plays Barbara Baekeland, a social climber who marries into the plastics fortune of the Baekeland family and spends the next two decades trying to hold together a life that was never quite real. The family drifts through New York, London, Paris, and Spain — wealthy, rootless, and gradually coming apart. Barbara's obsession with Antony deepens as her marriage fails, and what she does to bring him closer crosses into territory the film traces with uncomfortable clarity. The events are drawn from a real scandal that ended in violence in the early 1970s.
