Dahufa (大护法, 2017) is a Chinese animated action-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Bu Sifan, the film sends warrior Dahufa into a sealed, isolated village to find his missing prince — only to discover the place run by a self-proclaimed deity and the guards who keep the population compliant.

Don't let the animation format mislead you. Bu Sifan built this as adult material: characters die, authority is steadily exposed as fraud, and the fantasy quest doubles as political allegory about false gods and unquestioning obedience.
