Synopsis
Schumacher (2021) is a German documentary about Formula 1's most decorated driver that you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Hanns-Bruno Kammertöns, Vanessa Nöcker, and Michael Wech had access that most documentaries about living legends never get: family archives, home footage, and people who normally don't talk.
The film isn't a race-by-race career recap. It's built from different angles on the same man — his wife Corinna, son Mick, brother Ralf, and rivals and teammates including Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Sebastian Vettel, Mika Häkkinen, and Damon Hill. Seven world championship titles. A five-year run with Ferrari that redefined what dominance looked like in the sport. Then the skiing accident in December 2013, and the silence his family has kept since.
