Synopsis
The Green Perfume (2022) is a French-Belgian detective comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Nicolas Pariser cooks up a chase in the spirit of Hitchcock and the Tintin comics, where an ordinary actor is suddenly turned into a fugitive.
Mid-performance at the Comédie-Française, one of the actors collapses dead — poisoned in front of a packed house. Police suspicion falls on Martin, the victim's colleague and friend (Vincent Lacoste), while a shadowy outfit called Le Parfum vert, which appears to have ordered the killing, closes in on him too. To stay alive, Martin flees Paris with comic-book artist Claire (Sandrine Kiberlain), and the pair race clear across Europe.
