The Young Offenders

Conor and Jock are the kind of best friends who talk each other into terrible decisions and somehow make them worse in real time. The premise pulls from an actual 2007 incident — a record drug seizure off the Irish coast left one bale unaccounted for — and the film runs with it through every pothole of rural Ireland. Farmers, pubs, a determined sergeant, and the Atlantic wind all stand between the boys and their score.
