Synopsis

Samy lives in La Courneuve, one of the tougher suburbs north of Paris. He has no climbing experience, no gear, and no real plan. What he does have is a point to prove: Nadia doesn't think he can do anything remarkable, so he decides to summit Everest. Ahmed Sylla plays the whole absurd trajectory with a physical looseness that makes the comedy land — you laugh at Samy's stubbornness and quietly root for him at the same time.
