Kill Boksoon

Kill Boksoon (길복순, 2023) is a South Korean action thriller directed by Byun Sung-hyun — watch it online on iFILM. Jeon Do-yeon plays Gil Bok-soon, the top contractor at a private company that handles professional killings. Her work record is flawless. Her teenage daughter is another matter entirely.

When her contract renewal comes with conditions she can't accept, and her daughter walks into serious trouble at school on the same day, Bok-soon has to fight on two fronts at once. Byun delivers hard-hitting, well-choreographed action sequences but keeps the emotional weight on the mother-daughter dynamic: Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Si-a play off each other with real friction. Sol Kyung-gu and Koo Kyo-hwan round out the antagonists.
