The Predators

The Predators (I Predatori, 2020) is an Italian dark comedy and drama you can watch online on iFILM. Writer-director Pietro Castellitto — who also appears in the cast — puts two Roman families on a collision course: the Pavones, cultured bourgeois from the city centre, and the Vismaras, working-class neo-fascists from the suburbs.

One absurd accident links them. A reckless young man makes a decision nobody saw coming, and suddenly each family's carefully maintained facade starts to crack. Massimo Popolizio and Manuela Mandracchia anchor the Pavone side; the Vismara clan brings its own brand of ugly loyalties. Neither household is what it presents to the world.
