Synopsis

You can watch The Ministry of Time (El Ministerio del Tiempo, 2017) Season 3 online on iFILM — thirteen episodes of the Spanish time-travel drama whose secret agency guards the doors to the past. It opens in mourning. The team has buried one of its own, and the work goes on through the grief.

What follows leans hard into art and culture. The patrol shields Hitchcock at the 1958 San Sebastián premiere of Vertigo, covers Britain's Operation Mincemeat in Nazi-occupied France, repairs a slashed Goya, and nudges Buñuel's Viridiana toward its Cannes prize. The map keeps widening — Cortés's Yucatán, an assassination plot against Simón Bolívar in 1828 Bogotá, witch trials in 1864 Trasmoz. Threaded through it all is the Exterminating Angel, creeping ever closer to a portal that would open onto the future itself.

This is the creators' most cinephile run: half the season is about artists, and how easily culture can be erased from the record. The finale even turns the mirror on a TV show about the Ministry. If you like clever science fiction that never shouts, this is your stop. Stream The Ministry of Time Season 3 online on iFILM.
