I Think We're Alone Now
In the end… Chaos will find you
Synopsis
I Think We're Alone Now (2018) is a quiet, unsettling sci-fi drama directed by Reed Morano — watch it online on iFILM. Peter Dinklage plays Del, a man who spent his entire life feeling like an outsider. When an unexplained event wipes out nearly everyone on Earth, Del doesn't grieve — he gets to work.
He moves through the empty town like a caretaker of ruins: clearing bodies, restoring order in the library, keeping a meticulous log of his days. Then Elle Fanning's Grace shows up — young, alive, and completely uninterested in solitude. What follows is less a survival story and more an intimate collision between two people who need completely different things from the same empty world. Paul Giamatti and Charlotte Gainsbourg arrive late in the film and pull the rug out from under everything.
Morano frames the post-apocalypse not as spectacle but as interiority — a study of what a person becomes when there's no one left to perform for. It's a film for viewers who find the psychology of isolation more interesting than the logistics of it. Stream I Think We're Alone Now (2018) on iFILM.
