Synopsis
The Enfield Haunting (2015) is a British miniseries you can watch online, directed by Kristoffer Nyholm across three tense episodes. It revisits what reportedly unfolded inside an ordinary North London house in late 1977.
In a cramped council home in Enfield, a single mother and her kids start living through the inexplicable: furniture slides across rooms, knocks echo through the walls, and the youngest daughter speaks in a voice that isn't hers. Paranormal investigator Maurice Grosse turns up to document it all and slowly lets the case bleed into his own private grief.
Timothy Spall plays Grosse, with Matthew Macfadyen as his more skeptical colleague Guy Lyon Playfair, whose book This House Is Haunted gave the series its source. Drawn from the records of one of Britain's most argued-over poltergeist cases, the show leans into family drama rather than cheap jump scares.
