Race

Race (2008) is a glossy Bollywood thriller from directing duo Abbas-Mustan, free to watch online on iFILM. Two brothers run a horse-breeding empire near Durban and despise each other to the point of murder.

Ranvir (Saif Ali Khan) is the sharp, controlling older one; younger Rajiv (Akshaye Khanna) drinks and seethes. Wound around them are a fortune, a huge insurance payout and three women — Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy — each playing her own game. Add a juice-obsessed cop played by Anil Kapoor, and the double-crosses simply never stop.

Abbas-Mustan stuff the picture with everything they love: luxury cars, mountain-road chases, twists that drop out of nowhere and song numbers planted right in the middle of a scheme. Leave logic at the door — the movie runs on speed and sheer nerve rather than plausibility. Perfect for a night when you want flash and a long, gleefully silly ride.
