Synopsis
The Mind's Eye (2015) is Joe Begos's gore-soaked horror-actioner, ready to watch online on iFILM. Zack and Rachel were born with telekinesis — and that makes them prey for Dr. Michael Slovak.
Slovak locks away the gifted and siphons their power for himself. When Zack lands in his facility, he finds Rachel strapped down nearby. What follows is a breakout, a chase and a showdown where skulls burst and blood vessels pop through sheer force of will. Graham Skipper and Lauren Ashley Carter lead, with genre regulars Larry Fessenden and Noah Segan in support.
Begos shoots the whole thing as a love letter to 1980s body horror: grainy stock, neon glow, a throbbing synth score and practical effects over CGI. Low budget, high gore, zero restraint.
