Synopsis
Madonna: The Immaculate Collection (1990) is a 60-minute music video compilation you can watch online on iFILM — thirteen videos spanning Madonna's first seven years, from the raw 1983 energy of "Lucky Star" through the full visual ambition of "Vogue." Released in November 1990 alongside the bestselling audio CD, it won Best Long Form Video at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards.
The directors are half the story. David Fincher shot "Express Yourself" and "Oh Father." Mary Lambert directed "Like a Virgin" and "Like a Prayer." James Foley, Herb Ritts, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino handled the rest. On screen, cameos across the decade include Danny Aiello, Benicio del Toro, and John Leguizamo — faces that went on to very different careers.
Taken together, this is less a greatest-hits reel and more a compressed record of how pop visuals evolved through the 1980s, one video at a time. Stream Madonna: The Immaculate Collection (1990) online on iFILM.
