The closer Rome gets to an answer, the clearer it becomes that the real danger isn't the artifact but the people scrambling to control it. The sealed polar base, the paranoia and the creeping mistrust all nod to The Thing, though on a far smaller scale. John Lynch and Leslie Stefanson appear alongside Spader, with Ron Krauss directing.
