Synopsis
Heavier Trip (Hevimpi reissu, 2024) is a Finnish comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It picks up where Heavy Trip left off, with the planet's strangest metal band, Impaled Rektum, locked up in Norway's friendliest prison.
Then bad news lands. Guitarist Lotvonen's parents are about to lose their reindeer farm to the bank, and only one thing can rescue it: a massive payday gig at Wacken, the biggest heavy festival in Germany. So the boys break out and haul themselves across Europe toward metalhead heaven. Bigger dream, dumber obstacles at every turn.
Directors Jukka Vidgren and Juuso Laatio keep the deadpan tone of the first film and crank the road-movie absurdity, mixing corpse paint and blast beats with a surprisingly warm father-and-son story underneath.
