The Slammin' Salmon

The Slammin' Salmon (2009) is a comedy you can watch online on iFILM, made by the Broken Lizard crew — the team behind Super Troopers. Michael Clarke Duncan plays Cleon "Slammin'" Salmon, a former heavyweight champion who now runs a Miami seafood restaurant and owes a dangerous amount of money to a Japanese mobster. Director Kevin Heffernan fills the dining room with his Broken Lizard partners — Jay Chandrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Erik Stolhanske and Paul Soter — plus a guest list that includes Olivia Munn, Cobie Smolders and Will Forte cycling through the chaos. The humour runs on escalating catastrophe: every table that walks in becomes a new disaster for a staff too busy backstabbing each other to actually wait on anyone.
