Synopsis
"What Remains" (2013) is a British detective miniseries you can watch online on iFILM — a four-part drama directed by Coky Giedroyc, starring David Threlfall, Russell Tovey, Indira Varma and Claudie Blakley.
A couple moves into a new flat and finds what is left of Melissa Young: the body had been there for over two years. Detective Len Harper sets out to understand how that happened — and why no one in the five-unit building ever noticed she was gone. Each neighbor has something they would rather not share. The further the investigation goes, the clearer it becomes this is about more than a single death.
The story draws from a real London case — Joyce Carol Vincent was found nearly three years after her death, television still on, post piled at the door. A documentary, "Dreams of a Life," covered the same incident. What this series does differently is show the neighbors' side: ordinary indifference, accumulating inch by inch.
