Furlough (2018) is an American comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A rookie corrections officer is handed what sounds like a simple task: accompany inmate May on a 36-hour compassionate release to visit her dying mother. Nothing about it turns out to be simple.

Melissa Leo plays May as a force of nature — relentless, funny, and just unpredictable enough to keep the rookie completely off-balance. Tessa Thompson is the officer trying to hold the trip together. Whoopi Goldberg, Edgar Ramirez, and Anna Paquin turn up along the way.
