Madhouse

Madhouse (2004) is a grim horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Young psychiatrist Clark takes an internship at a half-abandoned mental hospital, and within days its corridors turn bloody as two brutal killings tear through the wards.

Joshua Leonard, Jordan Ladd, Lance Henriksen and Natasha Lyonne fill out the cast. Night after night Clark dreams of a dead boy beckoning him deeper into the building, and the only lead waits down in basement cell 44, where a patient knows far too much about the place. Director William Butler skips slow-burn mood and goes for sharp shocks against pale, sterile walls. It is small, mean and squarely aimed at fans of old-school asylum horror with no frills.
