Golden Years

Golden Years (Nos années folles, 2017) is a French wartime drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by André Téchiné with Pierre Deladonchamps and Céline Sallette.

France, 1917. Paul deserts the trenches and takes shelter with his wife Louise in Paris — dressed as a woman, the only disguise that holds. It works for a year, then another, then a decade, until the government grants amnesty. Téchiné based the film on real documents and shoots it quietly, without judgment or melodrama.
