Synopsis
The Last Tycoon (2017) is an Amazon drama series you can watch online on iFILM, drawn from F. Scott Fitzgerald's final, unfinished novel. Matt Bomer plays Monroe Stahr, a wunderkind producer in Depression-era Hollywood who can greenlight a picture on instinct and break every budget doing it.
Stahr's onetime mentor Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer) owns the studio and has no intention of letting Stahr reshape it. Lily Collins plays Celia Brady, the studio head's daughter caught between their two visions of what Hollywood can be. The season ran nine episodes, directed by a rotation that included Billy Ray and Julie Anne Robinson.
