Synopsis
Eaten Alive (1976) is an American horror film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Tobe Hooper three years after The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The setting is a crumbling roadside motel in the East Texas swamps — the Starlight Hotel — run by Judd, a deeply unhinged old man played by Neville Brand, who keeps a crocodile in the pond right outside.
Guests arrive in sequence: a woman and her daughter, a young couple, a man searching for his missing sister. Judd has a scythe and no patience. Marilyn Burns, who survived Leatherface in Hooper's previous film, finds herself trapped again in an entirely different kind of nightmare. Robert Englund turns up in an early role, years before Elm Street made him famous.
Hooper builds dread through heat, noise and close quarters rather than gore — it's less a shock machine than a sustained pressure cooker. Fans of 1970s grindhouse horror will find exactly what they came for. Stream Eaten Alive (1976) on iFILM.
