UFOs (OVNI(s), 2021) is a French science-fiction comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1978, and brilliant engineer Didier Mathure watches his rocket — and his entire career — blow up on the launchpad.

As punishment, he's handed GEPAN, a tiny government office that catalogues reports of flying saucers. For a committed rationalist it's a humiliation: no more space program, just folders full of farmers swearing they saw lights over the fields. The longer he mocks the witnesses, the more often he stumbles on details science can't quite file away. Melvil Poupaud plays a man whose certainties slip out from under him slowly, and almost comically.

Directed by Antony Cordier, the show lives in its late-seventies texture — beige offices, reel-to-reel tape, paperwork and dry Gallic wit. This isn't about little green men; it's about a grown skeptic forced to doubt himself. Think Stranger Things stripped of nostalgia and rewired with European deadpan.
