Synopsis
Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) is Kabir Khan's adventure drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A little girl from a Pakistani village is mute, and she gets stranded in India after wandering off a train. The man who takes her in is Pawan — a guileless, deeply devout Hindu and Hanuman devotee who is physically incapable of telling a lie, even to save himself.
The trouble is simple and impossible: the child has no papers and no voice to say who she is. Once Pawan realizes her home lies across the border in Pakistan, he decides to walk her back there himself, with no visa and no permission. What follows is a tense, funny, heart-tugging journey past checkpoints, police and the suspicion of two hostile nations. A scrappy local reporter, Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), tags along, while back home Pawan's fiancée Rasika (Kareena Kapoor) waits.
Salman Khan plays against type here — no action hero, just a man whose only weapon is stubborn honesty. Young Harshaali Malhotra carries most of the film as little Munni without speaking a single line. One of the highest-grossing Indian films ever made, it still lands its emotional gut-punch even on viewers cold to Bollywood, all on one idea: kindness outweighs borders.
