Synopsis
The Gifted Hands (사이코메트리, 2013) — watch online on iFILM — a South Korean crime thriller directed by Kwon Ho-young. Detective Yang Choon-dong is three years into the job when a girl goes missing and turns up dead in his precinct. At the scene: a piece of graffiti mapping the crime in precise detail. It was painted a month before it happened.
The artist, Kim Joon, is brought in. Under questioning he reveals something he's kept hidden — contact with objects or people through his right hand shows him what happened there, a psychometric gift that's made his life painful and solitary. Yang decides to use him. Kim Kang-woo and Kim Sang-bum lead the cast. The film turns on a neat procedural dilemma: a detective who has to build a case around evidence no court will ever admit.
