Pauly Shore Is Dead (2003) is a self-mocking mockumentary you can watch online on iFILM. The former MTV golden boy plays a washed-up version of himself: the house is gone, no agent will return his calls, and he's back living in his mom's loft above the Comedy Store.

So Pauly fakes his own death, and overnight the press recasts a has-been as a misunderstood comic genius. Shore directed the whole thing and packed the frame with cameos — Charlie Sheen, Vince Vaughn, Sean Penn, Whoopi Goldberg, Snoop Dogg, Pamela Anderson and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst all turn up to roast a grotesque version of themselves.
