Shapoklyak (1974) — watch online on iFILM. Director Roman Kachanov returns to his beloved characters in this twenty-minute Soviet animated short, a follow-up to the Cheburashka and Gena the Crocodile adventures. The plan was simple: catch a train to the sea.

Shapoklyak had other ideas. She lifts their tickets and their wallet, and the friends get thrown off the train two hundred kilometers from Moscow. Getting home turns into its own journey — along the way, the unlikely trio ends up stopping poachers and confronting a factory dumping waste into a river.
