Blitz Wolf

Blitz Wolf (1942) is a Tex Avery MGM short you can watch online on iFILM. Released in the months after America entered World War II, it takes the Three Little Pigs and runs it through wartime propaganda: the Big Bad Wolf is Hitler in thin disguise, "Pigmania" signs a non-aggression pact with him, and two pigs take him at his word.

Sergeant Pork does not. He digs trenches. The title is a direct shot at the German blitzkrieg. Avery loads the ten minutes with enough gags to keep it funny rather than preachy — which is why it still lands as comedy, not just as a period document. Watch on iFILM.
