Mammuth

To claim the pension points he's owed, the heavyset, near-silent man digs out a rusty 1970s motorbike nicknamed the Mammut — the same machine that once earned him his own nickname. The hunt for old pay slips turns into a ride back through his past: faded acquaintances, buried grief, the ghost of a lost love. The paperwork soon stops mattering.

Depardieu acts almost without dialogue, carrying it on bulk and a heavy stare, in one of his strangest turns. Yolande Moreau, Isabelle Adjani and Benoît Poelvoorde fill out the road.
