Synopsis

Detective Erik Backstrom left northern Sweden fifteen years ago after an incident he has never fully put behind him. A brutal murder pulls him back to his hometown. What he finds is a local police department that has already wrapped the case: officer Torsten has a suspect in custody and no interest in reopening anything. Erik starts digging anyway — and the deeper he goes, the closer it gets. Hunters he knew as a boy. His own family.
