Synopsis
Kiss Me Deadly (1955) is an American noir thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Robert Aldrich from Mickey Spillane's novel. Ralph Meeker plays Mike Hammer — a private eye who is hard, mercenary, and not particularly good at being a hero.
Late one night on a dark highway, Hammer picks up a woman in nothing but a coat and bare feet. Minutes later they're ambushed; she's tortured to death, he barely survives. Once he's back on his feet, Hammer pursues the case — not out of grief, but because someone tried to kill him and something big is clearly in play. The investigation takes him through a gallery of dangerous people toward a secret that turns out to be genuinely catastrophic.
