Synopsis

Kat Stanton travels from London to Australia to find the father she's never known. A layover in Bangkok turns catastrophic: a charming photographer she meets plants drugs in her luggage before disappearing, and Thai customs find them at the airport. Kat is thrown into the notorious Bangkok Hilton prison — overcrowded, brutal, and attached to a justice system that carries the death penalty for drug offenses. Her only chances are a tenacious lawyer (Denholm Elliott) and a stranger with a hidden past (Hugo Weaving) who knows more about Kat's story than she does.
