Synopsis
Berth Marks (1929) is one of the first all-talking Laurel and Hardy comedies, directed by Lewis R. Foster — watch it online on iFILM. Stan plays the cello; Ollie manages him as his impresario. Together they nearly miss their train to Pottsville and scramble aboard in a cloud of confusion.
Once in the sleeping car, they discover they share a single upper berth. Getting changed and lying down in that cramped space — with a full carriage of annoyed passengers watching — turns into an extended battle of elbows, dropped clothes, and collapsed dignity.
